Fueron inaugurados tres nuevos jardines infantiles y sus respectivas salas cuna beneficiando a la población Cacique Mariluan 5 de Victoria y a las localidades de Selva Oscura y Quino. Con esto se amplia de manera considerable la cobertura pree -escolar en la comuna de Victoria beneficiando a cerca de 160 lactantes y niños con una inversión superior a los 380 millones de pesos.

Nuevos y modernos espacios donde cada rincón fue especialmente pensado para cubrir las necesidades de los niños y brindarles seguridad durante su estadía diaria.

El alcalde Hugo Monsalves agradeció al gobierno porque la comuna de Victoria nunca antes en su historia había tenido la infraestructura infantil que existe en la actualidad, brindando con ello una ayuda invaluable en especial a las mujeres jefas de hogar. Y destacó que nuestra comuna sea la segunda en Malleco en contar con mas jardines y salas cuna nuevos gracias a las políticas publicas de protección social de la Presidenta Michelle Bachelet.

Marjorie Sánchez, quien tiene a 4 niños en el jardín de la población Cacique Mariluan 5 expresó sus agradecimientos por este beneficio que le permite salir a trabajar cada día de manera tranquila sabiendo que sus hijos están en el mejor lugar posible. De la misma forma, la presidenta de la junta vecinal de Selva Oscura, Carolina Parra señaló que pese a la distancia, la localidad ha progresado en el último tiempo teniendo una mejor infraestructura y contando con mejores servicios como la atención médica en la posta.

Para María Verónica Morales, apoderada de la localidad de Quino el funcionamiento del nuevo jardín ha permitido que su hijo reciba cariño y estimulación de parte de las tías, en un ambiente grato y pensado especialmente para los más pequeños.

Las inauguraciones fueron encabezadas por la intendenta Nora Barrientos y el gobernador, Jorge Saffirio, la directora regional de JUNJI, Jacqueline Burdiles junto a concejales y parlamentarios.

Los jardines fueron bendecidos por representantes de la Iglesia Católica y evangélica, quienes abogaron por el buen uso de estos espacios.
